Delivery Charges

Delivery is free to all areas of mainland UK for orders of £100.00 or more. NB: Deliveries are to Mainland U.K. ONLY.

For orders under £100.00 there will be a small £9.60 delivery charge.

For timed deliveries, Saturday deliveries and for any other delivery requirements including deliveries to the Scottish Islands, Northern and Southern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Scilly Isles, please give us a call on 01473 829222.

There is no minimum order value and goods collected from our showroom are free of delivery charges.

 

Delivery Information

Some products are particularly heavy or bulky and special delivery charges may need to be quoted dependant on quantity and delivery address. Products that fall within this category are clearly marked on the products page. If an item is identified as heavy please contact us with your requirements. On many occasions additional carriage charges will not be incurred and carriage may well be free.

Goods will normally be dispatched within 7 working days of receipt of order. If items are on a longer delivery then you will be informed within 48 hours of placing your order. If delivery time quoted is unacceptable then you may cancel whole or part of your order and be entitled to a refund. If you cancel part of your order and the remaining items fall below our carriage paid requirements then you may be liable to a carriage charge.

If you require next day delivery or if you want to order goods on reserve for future delivery please give us a call. We will do our best to fulfil your requirements. Once an order has been dispatched our courier will make one attempt to deliver and obtain a signature. If there is no one to accept the goods a card will be left with contact details for you to re-arrange delivery, or collection from a local depot, direct with the courier. If the courier is not contacted, a second and final attempt will be made to deliver on the next working day. If again there is no one to accept the goods they will be returned to ourselves and  an additional charge will be made to re-deliver.

Special delivery instructions can be given at time of order, i.e. "please leave with neighbour", "please leave in porch", "please leave behind back gate", etc. However, no responsibility can be taken by Hadleigh Lighting Direct for orders that may then be lost or stolen. All dimensions and colours are given as a guide to assist in product selection and do not form part of a legally binding contract.

 

Damaged Goods & Short Deliveries

Any damages or short deliveries must be reported within 48 hours. We will make every effort to rectify any problems as soon as possible. However, we will not under any circumstances be held responsible for costs incurred (builders fees, electricians fees, equiptment hire fees, etc.) due to faulty, damaged, missing or late delivery of goods.

 

Faulty Goods

All goods supplied are covered by full manufacturers warranties and any relevant statutory rights. In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault, and it falls within the manufacturers warranty terms, we will provide a replacement as soon as we can and arrange collection of the faulty item. Again, we will not be liable for additional costs incurred such as electricians fees.
